Restaurant owners can get help finding relief from UW-La Crosse’s COVID-19

LA CROSSE, Wisconsin (WKBT) – Restaurant owners can get the latest information on funds available through COVID-19 relief programs at an event hosted by the Small Business Development Center at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse .

UWL’s Wisconsin Small Business Development Center will be holding a free information session at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, May 5 to help local businesses figure out how to get help through the Restaurant Revitalization Fund.

The Restaurant Revitalization Fund (RRF) is providing emergency assistance to restaurants, bars and other eligible businesses affected by COVID-19. The American Rescue Plan Act established the RRF to provide funds to help restaurants and other eligible businesses keep their doors open.

“Restaurants are a big and important part of the Wisconsin small business community,” says Anne Hlavacka, director of UWL SBDC. “The RRF is a great opportunity for hard-hit businesses to get the help they need.”
