Brian Laundrie and Gabby Petito arrived at restaurant ‘on foot without a van’ before fighting with waitress, manager says
A DIRECTOR of a Wyoming restaurant claimed to have seen Brian Laundrie and his fiancee Gabby Petito on August 27 – although the couple did not arrive in their van.
Laundrie and Petito had been traveling the United States since July, detailing their trip on social media.
But a manager at the Merry Piglets Mexican Grill in Jackson, Wyoming, said NBC News this couple arrived on foot, without their white Ford van.
Petito’s body was discovered at a camp in Wyoming on Sunday, and a coroner’s report said his death would be homicide.
The couple were on a four-month trip across America when Laundrie returned home to his parents in Florida without Petito on September 1.
OBSERVATION OF RESTAURANTS
He has not been heard or seen since last Tuesday, and authorities in Florida searched an area of swamp near his family home.
The Wyoming restaurant manager’s account may be one of the last known sightings of Petito and Laundrie together.
Earlier today, a photographer, speaking to Fox News, also claimed to have seen Laundrie get involved in an explosive with a waitress at the Wyoming restaurant.
Nina Celie Angelo, of New Orleans, said she was visiting the state with her boyfriend on August 27 when they stopped for lunch at Merry Piglets between 1 p.m. and 2 p.m.
Angelo claims she watched in shock as a hectic laundromat started arguing with a waitress. Petito was with him at the time, she said.

Although she said she couldn’t hear the words exchanged between Laundrie and the woman, she thought the argument was either over the bill or over the money.
Angelo described Laundrie’s body language as “aggressive” and said he left and returned to the restaurant about four times, continuing the conflict.
At one point, Petito walked in and apologized for Laundrie’s behavior, Angelo alleged.
“I’m having chills right now,” said Nina Celie Angelo, recounting the incident.
“It’s crazy because it wasn’t just like we passed them on the street – it was an incident in its own right.”
Angelo also posted a lengthy account of his alleged meeting with Laundrie and Petito online on his Instagram page on Wednesday.
On Thursday, a federal warrant was issued for Laundrie’s arrest.
